CREATIVE RETREATS AT THE CASTELLO DI PETRORO

 

The castle of Petroro is open to professional drama groups or individual performers, under the age of 35, who wish to develop their artistic research together in a secluded, community environment. At the end of their stay groups present either a study or a performance to the public. During their stay participants are welcome to host rehearsals, workshops and/or training sessions open to the public.

 

This initiative aims to transform the Castello di Petroro into a space where young artists can explore and rehearse, all against a backdrop of remarkable history and tradition. Here they will be able to create in a context unfettered from the pressures of the productive system imposed by the market and meet and interact with other resident performers.
